A common selective and differential microbiological growth medium utilized to distinguish pathogenic microbes in short periods of time. Selective for gram positive bacterium (Staphylococci and Micrococcaceae), while inhibiting other bacteria. It is a differential medium for mannitol-fermenting Staphylococci and accommodates selective isolation of presumptive pathogen (pp) Staphylococci.1
These plates are sold in packs of ten. Each pack includes ten 90mm plates, each with a 20mL fill volume. If you would like a different plate size, fill or formulation, please request a custom order.
